The company is now located in its own customs built cooperate headquarters located at Sam-king business park, Lakka beach, off the Freetown Peninsular highway. The cooperate headquarters also house the administrative hub of the company, and well fitted with a state-of-the-art model office setting to provide efficient quality service delivery to our clients’ nation wide.
Sam-king services was established in 1992, with initial capital of US$ 80, while the founder Wilfred Sam-king was studying Agricultural sciences at the Njala University in Sierra Leone.
By 1998 the company had become a market leader in the services and logistics sector. Many organizations in Sierra Leone procured their quality stationery & office equipment, computer and printer consumables etc. from the company.
The company’s progress and dynamic trajectory was disrupted during the 11 years civil war in Sierra Leone, despite it cooperate decision to relocate and continue business in neighboring guinea Conakry.
In 2001, upon return to Sierra Leone the company quickly rebuilds and gained over 60% of market share, providing high quality office stationery and state- of -the- art office equipment to its growing base of loyal and reliable customers. By this time the company has earned an enviable reputation as one of the top-quality stationers and providers of modern office equipment and furniture. A couple of years later, the company diversified its portfolio into hospitality and construction sectors, where it made significant contributions.
In 2010, the company suffered another huge setback resulting in various reversal of the gains made over the years; a situation that more or less compelled the company to temporarily suspend its core operations.
The adversity experienced by the company and its management staff triggered introspection that resulted in an imaginative, creative and innovative road map for the company, moving forward.
